About the System
Aquarea is the Panasonic air-to-water heat pump series. Unlike a conventional air conditioner, which heats the air in a room, a heat pump heats water that then feeds the heating system, so it can work with underfloor heating, radiators or fan coils, and can also prepare domestic hot water.
It is most often installed as a replacement for an existing gas, oil or solid fuel boiler room, and in new builds with underfloor heating. Capacity is determined by the building heat loss and the existing system, so a calculation or site visit is needed before a quote. For configurations with well systems, we also carry out the drilling and well equipping.
